About the Role
As our Assistant General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our daily operations, working hand-in-hand with the General Manager to maintain the highest standards of service, profitability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

**Operational Leadership:** Oversee all hotel operations (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance) in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable daily functions.

**Financial Accountability:** Manage departmental budgets, analyze financial performance, implement cost-control measures, and maximize revenue opportunities across all revenue streams.

**Guest Experience Champion:** Implement and enforce service standards, resolve guest complaints effectively, and foster a culture of guest satisfaction and loyalty.

**Team Development:** Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate departmental managers; foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

**Compliance & Safety:** Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements (safety, security, labor laws).

**Strategic Planning:** Assist in developing and executing operational plans, marketing strategies, and capital improvement projects.
Requirements

**Proven Experience:** Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in hospitality management, with significant leadership experience as a Department Head or Assistant Manager in a luxury or upscale property.

**Leadership & Communication:** Exceptional leadership skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to motivate and develop teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Financial Acumen:** Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze P&Ls, and drive revenue growth through effective cost management and upselling.

**Operational Mastery:** Deep understanding of hotel operations across all departments, including front office, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance.

**Problem-Solving & Initiative:** Proactive, resourceful, and capable of making sound decisions quickly under pressure. Ability to identify and implement operational improvements.

**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CHIA, SHRM) are a plus.
