About the Role

As a Remote Physical Therapist, you’ll assess, diagnose, and create customized rehabilitation plans for patients across the U.S. using secure video consultations. This position eliminates geographic barriers, allowing you to serve diverse populations while maintaining clinical excellence. You’ll collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and patients to design evidence-based treatment regimens, track progress via digital tools, and adjust care strategies in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations via telehealth to determine patient needs and goals
• Develop and implement physical therapy plans tailored to individual conditions (e.g., post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, mobility issues)
• Educate patients on exercise techniques, ergonomics, and injury prevention through virtual sessions
• Coordinate with local healthcare providers for seamless care transitions
• Stay updated on telehealth regulations and digital care best practices

Requirements

Mandatory:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
• Active state PT license (multi-state licensure preferred but not required)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, neurology, or outpatient rehabilitation
• Proven telehealth proficiency (Zoom/Teams/secure platforms)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for patient education
• Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Athenahealth, Epic)

Preferred:

• Certification in Sports Physical Therapy (CSP) or Neurological Physical Therapy (NPT)
• Experience with pediatric or geriatric populations
• Fluency in Spanish or bilingual communication skills
