Key Responsibilities

- Train employees and subcontractors on safety procedures, emergency response, and proper equipment usage.
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, documenting findings and corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, and the formulation of preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project leadership to integrate safety considerations into scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive safety management experience in construction or heavy‑industry settings.
- Professional certification such as OSHA 30‑Hour, CSP, or CIH is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates and fostering safe work environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex safety concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with safety management software, incident reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
