The position blends hands‑on oversight with strategic planning, ensuring every project meets the highest safety benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train employees and subcontractors on safety procedures, emergency response, and proper equipment usage.
  • Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, documenting findings and corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, and the formulation of preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to integrate safety considerations into scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive safety management experience in construction or heavy‑industry settings.
  • Professional certification such as OSHA 30‑Hour, CSP, or CIH is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of reducing incident rates and fostering safe work environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex safety concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with safety management software, incident reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary commensurate with experience, paid bi‑weekly.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) plan with company match and optional Roth option.
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and parental leave policies.
  • Continuous professional development support, including certification reimbursements.
  • Robust wellness program featuring on‑site fitness classes, mental health resources, and employee assistance programs.
  • Vehicle allowance and expense coverage for field inspections.
