About the Role

The Commissioning Manager is the linchpin of any successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans that align with project milestones and client specifications.
• Oversee the testing and verification of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
• Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation to ensure compliance.
• Lead defect resolution meetings and coordinate corrective actions with subcontractors.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and final closeout documentation.
• Manage the commissioning budget, tracking costs and forecasting expenditures to ensure profitability.
• Mentor junior staff and conduct virtual training sessions on commissioning procedures.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in engineering and project management. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of technical knowledge and people skills.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning, construction management, or facility management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Certifications such as LEED AP, PE, or equivalent are a strong plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing commissioning for projects valued over $1 million.

Salary Range

Based on industry standards and the scope of this role, the estimated salary range is $55,000 to $80,000 USD per year. This is a full-time, salaried position with no hidden fees or overtime expectations.
