About the Role

As a Remote Physician Assistant, you will conduct virtual consultations, assess patient histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans. You will work closely with supervising physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless continuity of care across diverse patient populations. The position emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education, all delivered through a secure telehealth platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive virtual health assessments and formulate differential diagnoses.
• Order labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies; review results and adjust care plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide medication therapy management within scope of practice.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to treatment regimens.
• Document encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) and maintain compliance with telehealth regulations.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification and active state PA license (or eligibility for licensure in multiple states).
• DEA registration or ability to obtain one for prescribing controlled substances.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related specialty.
• Proven track record of delivering telehealth services or strong interest in transitioning to virtual care.
• Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and telehealth platforms preferred.

Salary Range
