Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update single-line diagrams, panel schedules, floor plans, risers, and electrical layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop lighting, power, grounding, raceway, and equipment-placement details in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, mechanical, structural, and civil disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Perform design calculations and assist with equipment selection, load analysis, and system documentation.
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, consistency, and compliance with electrical standards.
• Respond to design comments, prepare revisions, and maintain organized project files and drawing registers.
• Support value-engineering discussions and propose practical alternatives that improve performance without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as an electrical designer, CAD technician, or in a closely related role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, including the ability to create and modify detailed technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of electrical design principles, building systems, and relevant NEC requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, coordinated documents under project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
