About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and documentation for a wide range of projects including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure developments. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure all electrical systems meet safety codes, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.

The ideal candidate will use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or EPLAN to produce high-quality schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams. You will participate in design reviews, conduct technical analyses, and provide expert support during the construction phase. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive electrical design drawings and documentation
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software

Requirements

Education & Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with an associate degree and extensive relevant experience will also be considered. A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical design is required, with proven expertise in commercial and/or industrial electrical systems.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design software
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA)
• Experience with lighting design and power distribution systems
• Knowledge of BIM and Revit for MEP coordination
• Familiarity with SCADA and control system documentation
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications
