Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough virtual patient assessments, including history-taking, symptom evaluation, and diagnostic reasoning via secure telehealth platforms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications where appropriate, and coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with nurses, physician assistants, mental health professionals, and care coordinators to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
• Stay current with evolving medical guidelines, clinical best practices, and telehealth regulations across jurisdictions.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and continuing medical education programs.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state, with eligibility to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in a recognized specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, or related fields).
• Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances remotely where legally permitted.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a telehealth or virtual care environment preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth, and comfort with telehealth software including Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me, or similar tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Strong diagnostic acumen, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
