About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our project managers and sales team by preparing comprehensive cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects. Your analytical skills and deep understanding of construction processes will help ensure every bid is competitive, realistic, and profitable.

In this position, you will:

• Review architectural and engineering drawings to assess project scope and specifications
• Conduct detailed takeoffs using digital takeoff software and traditional methods
• Research and analyze current material prices, labor rates, and subcontractor costs
• Prepare itemized cost estimates, bid proposals, and value engineering recommendations
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and field personnel to refine estimates
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical records, and vendor pricing information
• Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities early in the project lifecycle

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating or related field
• Proven proficiency with estimating software such as ProEst, Sage Estimating, or Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, codes, and industry standards
• Excellent analytical abilities and high level of accuracy in numerical analysis
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities
• Self-motivated professional capable of managing deadlines independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Professional Estimator (CCC) or similar credential
• Experience with green building practices and sustainable construction methods
• Familiarity with project management tools like Procore or Buildertrend
• Background in commercial construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects

Compensation & Benefits
