About the Role

As a Remote Software Developer, you will be responsible for translating product requirements into clean, efficient code. You’ll work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, engineers, and DevOps to ship features that delight customers and drive business growth. Expect to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes, and improve system observability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and architectural best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and collaborate across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
