About the Role

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will investigate financial data, design predictive models, and evaluate strategies across multiple asset classes. Salary Range

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and validate quantitative trading signals and predictive models using statistical and machine learning methods.
  • Analyze large financial, alternative, and market datasets to identify meaningful patterns and potential opportunities.
  • Conduct backtesting, performance evaluation, and risk analysis to assess strategy effectiveness and limitations.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and engineers to translate research findings into deployable models.
  • Monitor model performance and investigate changes caused by shifting market conditions.
  • Document research methodologies, assumptions, results, and recommendations clearly for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about developments in quantitative finance, machine learning, data science, and financial technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of statistics, probability, regression, time series analysis, and financial markets.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
  • Experience handling large datasets and performing research-grade backtesting or model validation.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly through reports, presentations, and discussions.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in algorithmic trading, risk modeling, derivatives, portfolio optimization, alternative data, or production machine learning systems may be particularly well suited.
