Job Summary
Oracle is hiring a Senior Research Engineer – Agentic AI in Charleston, Kanawha County, US. Lead cutting‑edge research on agentic and generative AI to power the next generation of enterprise analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and prototype advanced agentic AI algorithms and models for large‑scale enterprise analytics.
- Integrate generative AI, machine learning, and optimization techniques into Oracle Analytics products.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate research into production‑ready features.
- Publish research findings in top conferences and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide technical direction for AI initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AI research, specifically agentic or generative models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++ or Java, and experience with deep‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven track record of publishing peer‑reviewed papers or delivering impactful AI solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.

- Experience with large‑scale data pipelines and cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).

Compensation & Benefits
