Senior iOS Security Engineer
About This Position
REDLattice is seeking a Senior iOS Security Engineer in Springfield, Fairfax County, VA to lead advanced vulnerability analysis and secure mobile applications for critical national infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security features for iOS applications used by government and strategic partners.
- Conduct deep‑dive vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and code reviews.
- Develop security tooling, automated testing frameworks, and incident response processes.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on secure coding best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of iOS development experience with a strong focus on security.
- Expertise in Swift, Objective‑C, Xcode, and iOS security APIs (Keychain, Secure Enclave, App Transport Security).
- Hands‑on experience with static and dynamic analysis tools (e.g., Hopper, Frida, Burp Suite).
- Deep understanding of cryptographic protocols, secure authentication, and mobile threat vectors.
- Clearance eligibility for handling classified or sensitive government data.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with secure code signing, OTA updates, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and DoD RMF.
- Publications or contributions to security research communities.
Compensation & Benefits
