Financial Advocates INC is seeking a full‑time Tax Associate in Santa Ana, Orange County, US. Join a boutique CPA firm and work closely with the Owner, Tax Manager and Senior Tax Accountant to serve high‑net‑worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and entity tax returns (Federal, State, local).
• Assist with tax planning strategies for high‑net‑worth individuals and family entities.
• Research tax regulations and support senior staff on complex compliance issues.
• Maintain organized client files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and answer basic tax questions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1‑2 years of tax preparation experience, preferably in a CPA firm.
• Strong knowledge of US Federal and California tax codes.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in tax software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
