Job Summary
WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia. Join a global leader in engineering and science to lead complex remediation projects that protect communities and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of environmental remediation projects from inception to close‑out.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans, ensuring compliance with local, provincial and federal regulations.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor site activities, conduct quality assurance reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geosciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing contaminated site investigations and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian environmental regulations (e.g., BC Environmental Management Act, CEAA).
- Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or equivalent is an asset.
