About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Set up and manage virtual appointment rooms, ensuring all necessary documents and imaging tools are ready.
• Greet patients via video conference, verify identity, and review medical histories.
• Assist dentists during live consultations by handling suction, retractors, and digital impression devices.
• Enter clinical notes, update treatment plans, and schedule follow‑up visits in our practice management system.
• Provide patients with clear after‑care instructions and answer common oral‑health questions.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and infection‑control protocols in a remote setting.

Requirements

Must‑Have

• Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, or state‑equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of chair‑side assisting experience in a general or specialty dental office.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) and video‑conferencing platforms.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a patient‑centric attitude.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.

Nice‑to‑Have
