Horizon North is seeking a skilled Plumber/Gas Fitter for remote lodge projects in the Fort St John area, based out of Edmonton, Alberta. Work on the construction and renovation of relocatable modular structures, ensuring safe and compliant plumbing and gas installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, and gas piping systems in modular lodges.
• Read and interpret plumbing scopes, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and gas installations.
• Collaborate with the Lead Hand and site crew to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment logs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber or Gas Fitter certification in Alberta.
• Minimum 2 years experience in residential, commercial, or modular construction.
• Proficiency with pipe threading, welding, soldering, and pressure testing.
• Ability to work independently at remote sites and travel within the Fort St John region.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
