Radiant Industries is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in El Segundo, Los Angeles County, CA. You will collaborate with design engineers to bring complex micro‑reactor mechanisms to production and ensure the successful delivery of the Kaleidos demonstration unit for testing in 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product and design engineers to translate complex micro‑reactor concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Develop and optimize production processes, tooling, and fixtures for high‑precision mechanisms.
• Lead the build, testing, and validation of the Kaleidos demonstration unit destined for Idaho National Lab.
• Implement robust quality and safety controls to meet aerospace‑grade standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase yield, reduce waste, and shorten cycle time.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in advanced manufacturing of complex mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA) and GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, additive manufacturing, and precision assembly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through pilot production.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional teamwork skills.
