Service Technician

Uesco Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join its team in Alsip, Cook County, US. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing single and double girder cranes across a range of capacities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of top‑running and under‑running crane systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and execute timely repairs.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to ensure proper crane configuration.
• Provide customer training on safe operation and routine upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain detailed service reports and update maintenance logs in the company’s ERP system.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or apprenticeship in industrial mechanics, electromechanical service, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience servicing overhead or gantry cranes.
• Proficiency with dual‑motor drive systems, hydraulic circuits, and PLC controls.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel to client sites within the region.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
