Job Summary
Directive is seeking a results‑driven SEO Strategist to join its remote team in Canada. In this role you will design and execute SEO campaigns that generate pipeline and qualified sales opportunities for B2B SaaS clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with Directive’s Customer Generation methodology.
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with paid media, CRO, and RevOps teams to create integrated marketing engines.
- Produce content briefs, on‑page optimization recommendations, and link‑building plans.
- Track performance metrics (organic traffic, keyword rankings, SQLs) and present actionable insights to clients.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, fast‑paced work ethic and ability to thrive in a fully remote setting.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with technical SEO implementations (site migrations, schema, core web vitals).
- Knowledge of paid media, CRO, and RevOps integration.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello).
