About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to own the end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale civil, structural, and mechanical projects for public‑ and private‑sector clients across the United States. This position blends deep technical expertise with strong project leadership, requiring you to translate design intent into constructible solutions, manage interdisciplinary teams, and maintain rigorous quality, schedule, and budget controls—all without ever stepping into a physical office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans, including scope definition, work breakdown structures, and risk registers.
• Lead cross‑functional design reviews, coordinating civil, structural, MEP, and environmental disciplines to resolve conflicts early.
• Monitor project health through earned‑value analysis, critical‑path tracking, and real‑time dashboards; present status to senior leadership and clients.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and CAD technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, local amendments) and sustainability targets (LEED, Envision).
• Negotiate change orders, manage subcontractor performance, and drive cost‑saving value‑engineering initiatives.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state; ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressive project engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/lead capacity on projects valued over $25 M.
• Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure (bridges, highways, water/wastewater, industrial facilities) from design through construction close‑out.
• Extensive proficiency with BIM/VDC workflows (Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D) and project management platforms (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
