Information Security Manager (Contract)

O2E Brands Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager for a 12‑month contract in Toronto, Ontario. Lead the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s cybersecurity strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain comprehensive information security programs aligned with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling and security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Define security policies, standards and procedures, and ensure organization‑wide compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and business units to prioritize security initiatives and manage incident response.
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on security posture, metrics and improvement plans.
• Oversee security awareness training and foster a culture of cybersecurity across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in information security management or governance.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and IAM solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent) preferred.
