Job Summary

NavitasPartners is seeking a Senior Engineer – Generative AI & Agentic Frameworks to work remotely from Gatineau, Outaouais, Canada. This contract/full‑time role will lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy generative AI models and agentic frameworks that meet enterprise requirements.
• Build scalable, cloud‑native AI pipelines using Azure, AWS or GCP services.
• Ensure AI governance, security, reliability, and performance through monitoring and testing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and DevOps teams to integrate AI capabilities into business applications.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to best‑practice documentation.
• Stay current with emerging AI research and translate innovations into practical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML.
• Proven expertise in generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models) and agent‑based systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of AI governance, model monitoring, and ethical AI practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MLOps pipelines, CI/CD for ML, and serverless architectures.
