Vulnerability Manager

The Vulnerability Manager at Querentia will lead the IT Infrastructure Cybersecurity Operations team in Mont‑Royal, Montréal, overseeing the enterprise‑wide vulnerability remediation program for CA‑CIB’s infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the vulnerability remediation lifecycle across servers, networks, databases and virtualization platforms.
• Act as the primary liaison between Information Security and IT Infrastructure platform teams to ensure alignment and timely remediation.
• Develop, maintain and communicate remediation schedules, priorities and status reports to senior leadership.
• Implement and improve automated scanning, patch management and configuration‑baseline processes.
• Produce executive‑level dashboards and regular reports that provide clear visibility into risk posture and remediation progress.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating threat intelligence and emerging best practices.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management, IT security operations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, network devices, database platforms and virtualized environments.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable) and patch management solutions.
• Proven ability to translate technical findings into business‑focused remediation plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC or equivalent are a plus.
