Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, suppression equipment, and electronic security devices at commercial and industrial sites.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure compliance with NFPA and local fire codes.
• Diagnose system faults using specialized testing equipment and provide clear, documented reports.
• Collaborate with clients, property managers, and local fire departments to schedule service calls and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and company‑issued vehicle; request supplies as needed.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry certifications and attend ongoing training provided by MDI Security.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; additional technical certifications (e.g., NICET, NFPA 70E, FCC) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm or security system installation and service.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
