Jobgether is seeking a Web Analytics Developer to join a cutting‑edge, data‑driven team in Canada. In this role you will design, implement, and maintain analytics solutions that power marketing performance and strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage tracking implementations across websites, mobile apps, ad platforms and CRM systems using Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, and custom JavaScript.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to define measurement plans, KPIs and data layer specifications.
- Validate data quality, troubleshoot tagging issues, and ensure accurate attribution across paid, owned and earned media.
- Build dashboards and automated reports in Google Data Studio, Power BI or Tableau to surface actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of tagging architecture, data schemas, and governance processes.
- Stay current with industry best practices, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and emerging analytics technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in web analytics, tag management and data layer design.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Universal Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and related APIs.
- Strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS coding abilities; experience with server‑side tagging is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL, BigQuery, or other data‑warehouse tools for data extraction and analysis.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels (SEM, SEO, social, programmatic) and attribution models.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
