Job Summary

Canada Career is seeking a Regional Technician to support low‑carbon energy projects across the Grande Prairie region, based in Wembley, Grande Prairie, AB. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNG, RNG and hydrogen fueling infrastructure for remote and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG) and hydrogen fueling stations.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records, generate technical reports, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and customers to plan service schedules and upgrades.
• Provide technical training and guidance to junior technicians and local partners.
• Respond to emergency service calls and support remote community operations 24/7 on a rotating basis.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary technical training in mechanical, electrical or petroleum technology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with fuel‑dispensing equipment, preferably CNG/RNG or hydrogen systems.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean driving record; ability to travel throughout the Grande Prairie region.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently in remote locations.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety‑first mindset.
