About This Position
Job Summary
The Fanshawe College of Applied Arts and Technology is seeking a Vice‑President, Corporate Services – Infrastructure to lead strategic planning, delivery and management of all campus infrastructure services in London, Middlesex, Canada. This senior executive role reports to the President and works closely with senior leadership to ensure safe, sustainable and efficient facilities for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the college’s long‑term infrastructure strategy, including capital planning, construction, maintenance and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of facilities managers, engineers, project managers and support staff.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial stewardship for a portfolio valued at $180‑$225 million.
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Partner with academic leaders to align physical spaces with curriculum and technology needs.
- Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven decision making, KPI tracking and stakeholder feedback.
- Represent Fanshawe College in external forums, government relations, and industry associations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of senior‑level experience in infrastructure, facilities, or capital projects within a post‑secondary or large‑public‑sector organization.
- Proven track record of managing multi‑million‑dollar capital budgets and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication and change‑management skills; ability to foster a culture of collaboration, empathy and belonging.
- Knowledge of Ontario building codes, sustainability standards (e.g., LEED), and government funding mechanisms.
