Signalisation SAIC inc. is hiring a skilled Furniture Cabinetmaker to work on‑site in Longueuil, Champlain, Canada. The role involves operating woodworking machinery and crafting custom furniture components from detailed plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate power saws, jointers, mortisers, shapers and other woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and plans to produce precise cabinet parts.
• Cut, shape, sand and finish wooden surfaces to meet quality standards.
• Assemble components, apply veneers, stains or paints, and ensure final products meet client expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve any technical issues.

Requirements

• Fluency in French.
• Secondary school graduation (high school) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in cabinetmaking or furniture manufacturing.
• Proficiency with woodworking machines and hand tools.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications.
• Attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety.

Work Environment
