About This Position

Northbridge Financial Corporation is seeking an Employee Events & Initiatives Consultant on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. In this role you will design, coordinate and deliver engaging in‑person and virtual employee experiences, corporate gatherings and CSR programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and evaluate national and local employee social events, both virtual and on‑site.
  • Organise corporate conferences, town‑halls and client‑facing functions from concept through post‑event analysis.
  • Support the Corporate Social Responsibility portfolio by managing volunteer projects, donation‑matching initiatives and community partnership events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and external partners to ensure seamless event logistics, branding and budget adherence.
  • Develop event calendars, communication plans and promotional materials to maximise employee participation.
  • Collect feedback, produce post‑event reports and recommend improvements for future initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, employee engagement or CSR program coordination.
  • Strong project‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
  • Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Hopin) and event management software.
  • Creative problem‑solver who can work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Communications, Business or related field is preferred.
