Key Responsibilities

Safety Program Development

• Design and implement comprehensive safety management systems
• Conduct regular workplace risk assessments and hazard analyses
• Develop safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans
• Create engaging safety training materials and conduct virtual sessions

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and federal safety standards
• Investigate incidents and near-misses with root cause analysis
• Prepare detailed safety reports and dashboard metrics for leadership
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits

Team Leadership

• Provide guidance and mentorship to site-level safety coordinators
• Foster a proactive safety culture through communication and engagement
• Collaborate with department heads to address safety concerns promptly

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety management experience
• Current CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety regulations
• Proven experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in safety management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Experience

• Construction, manufacturing, or industrial safety background

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 USD/year
