Job Summary
Sumitomo Pharma is seeking a Territory Sales Manager, Oncology to drive sales of its oncology portfolio in Montpelier, Washington County, US. This role combines strategic account management with field execution to expand market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan for oncology products, targeting hospitals, oncology clinics and specialty pharmacies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with oncologists, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and key decision‑makers.
- Deliver compelling scientific and product presentations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while reporting forecast and pipeline activity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including medical affairs, market access and marketing to align on product positioning and promotional strategies.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, prescribing trends and emerging therapies.
- Ensure accurate documentation in CRM systems and maintain up‑to‑date territory records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a focus on oncology therapeutics.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a defined territory.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $123,614.85 annually, plus performance‑based incentives, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) plan, and professional development opportunities.
