Key Responsibilities
- Assist prospective borrowers with Home Equity Loans (HELOANs) and Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs) via inbound and outbound calls.
- Gather and verify applicant information, ensuring completeness and accuracy of loan applications.
- Provide education on loan products, eligibility criteria, and the application process.
- Maintain detailed records in the company’s CRM system and follow up on pending documentation.
- Collaborate with senior loan officers and underwriting teams to resolve issues and move applications forward.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly call volume and conversion targets.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, role‑plays, and coaching to develop mortgage industry knowledge.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework or a degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with CRM or loan origination software is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license within the first 12 months (company will cover licensing costs).
- Motivation to learn, grow, and pursue a career in mortgage lending.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $66,874.36. The role includes comprehensive training, coaching, paid licensing fees, health benefits, and a performance‑based incentive program.
