Job Summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant – Managed Services AI‑Native Software Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in the United States, with a base location in Concord, Merrimack County, MA. This senior‑level role focuses on designing, prototyping and delivering AI‑enabled applications and digital products for EY’s managed services practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as hands‑on Solution Architect, creating end‑to‑end architectures for AI‑native software solutions.
• Design, develop, and prototype modern, cloud‑based applications that leverage machine learning, natural language processing and generative AI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including data scientists, product owners and delivery managers—to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Write high‑quality code, conduct peer reviews, and ensure compliance with EY’s security and governance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches to improve client outcomes.
• Assist in pre‑sales activities, solution demos and proposal development.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML‑enabled solutions.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Hugging Face.
• Experience designing micro‑services architectures, RESTful APIs and event‑driven systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Relevant advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field is preferred.
