About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, validating, and documenting electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and component selections for a portfolio of high‑performance consumer and industrial products. Working closely with hardware engineers, firmware teams, and manufacturing partners, you’ll translate product requirements into manufacturable, cost‑effective designs that meet rigorous safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical schematics and PCB layouts using industry‑standard EDA tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD).
• Perform design reviews, signal integrity analysis, and power integrity calculations to ensure robust performance.
• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to integrate electrical and mechanical interfaces.
• Lead prototype development, test bench setup, and troubleshooting of electrical problems.
• Document design specifications, BOMs, and test procedures for internal use and external audits.
• Stay current on industry trends, component availability, and evolving regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing PCBs for consumer or industrial electronics.
• Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD) and simulation software (SPICE, HyperLynx).
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power distribution, EMI/EMC, and thermal management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
