Job Summary
Saint Francis Hospital is seeking an Epic Application Analyst, Pharmacist – Epic Beacon to join its team in the United States. This full‑time role works Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with required on‑call rotation after hours and weekends. The position can be remote, hybrid, or onsite depending on the candidate’s location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system build, configuration, testing, and validation of the Epic Beacon pharmacy module.
- Provide day‑to‑day application support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clinical pharmacy staff, IT, and Epic team to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in on‑call rotation, responding to urgent incidents after hours and on weekends.
- Assist with data migration, interface testing, and integration with other hospital systems.
- Stay current with Epic updates, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in the United States.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with Epic Beacon or other Epic pharmacy applications.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with system testing, validation, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic certification for Beacon Pharmacy.
- Background in health‑information technology or clinical informatics.
- Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analytics.
Compensation
Salary range: $137,660.03 per year.
