Ochsner Clinic Foundation is seeking a Revenue Cycle Precertification Nurse (LPN) on a PRN, remote basis to support patient financial clearance for services. This role is based in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, with a fixed annual salary of $40,854.92.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery.
• Obtain necessary authorizations and pre‑certifications for procedures, surgeries, and outpatient services.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, billing, and external payors to resolve coverage issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and revenue cycle systems.

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Louisiana or ability to obtain one.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
