Job Summary

OnSpot Dermatology is seeking a diligent Medical Assistant to join its Mobile Dermatology team in Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County. This full‑time or part‑time role supports surgical procedures, skin‑cancer screenings and patient care within a state‑of‑the‑art mobile clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dermatologic examinations, biopsies and Mohs surgery.
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and proper instrument handling.
• Perform patient intake, record medical histories, vital signs and update electronic health records accurately.
• Educate patients on post‑procedure care, skin‑cancer prevention and follow‑up appointments.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and coordinate restocking for the mobile unit.
• Travel to various community sites and workplaces across Southwest Florida while adhering to schedule and safety protocols.
• Support clinic operations by handling phone triage, appointment scheduling and insurance verification.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in dermatology, surgical assisting or a fast‑paced outpatient setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (e.g., EMR, EPIC).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the service area.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Compensation & Benefits
