The Alcove in Malibu, Los Angeles County is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver a beach‑chic shopping experience and drive sales of our California‑inspired apparel.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing personalized styling advice for tees, denim, dresses and accessories.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect The Alcove’s elevated, relaxed aesthetic.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and gift card sales.
• Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets while upselling complementary items.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and prepare merchandise for new arrivals.
• Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to management for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.
• Passion for fashion, especially beach‑chic and California lifestyle clothing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS technology.
