Key Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site construction observations, ensuring compliance with design documents, specifications, and local codes.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly field reports, photographs, and punch‑list items for project managers and engineers.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and architects to resolve field issues and clarify design intent.
- Conduct field measurements, layout verification, and as‑built documentation using total stations, laser levels, and digital tools.
- Monitor safety practices on the job site and report any non‑compliance to the safety officer.
- Assist senior field staff with complex observations, QA/QC reviews, and client communications.
- Maintain organized project files, logs, and electronic records in the company’s BIM/CM software.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–10 years of construction field experience, preferably in structural or civil projects.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent on‑the‑job training).
- Proficiency with construction observation tools (total station, laser level, GPS) and Microsoft Office/Bluebeam.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, concise reports.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily site visits in the Denver metro area.
