Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and adapt individualized instructional plans for students with special needs, aligning with IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and modify teaching strategies to ensure academic and behavioral success.
• Collaborate daily with the Assistant Principal, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate records, attendance, and compliance with all agency policies and state regulations.
• Provide a safe, inclusive classroom environment and implement positive behavior interventions.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and upcoming goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; valid New York State teaching certification.
