Job Summary
Associated Ready Mixed Concrete is hiring a Tire Technician in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, CA. The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing and replacing tires on cars, trucks and fleet vehicles while delivering top‑notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough visual and mechanical inspections of tires to identify wear, damage, and proper inflation.
- Repair punctures, balance wheels, and replace tires according to manufacturer specifications.
- Install and remove tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial fleet units.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork for each job.
- Collaborate with mechanics, service advisors and other team members to ensure safe and reliable vehicle operation.
- Provide clear explanations to customers about tire condition, recommended services and safety best practices.
- Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new tire technologies and equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; vocational training or certification in tire technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a tire technician or in a similar automotive service role.
- Strong knowledge of tire construction, sizing, load ratings and mounting procedures.
- Ability to operate tire changers, balancers, inflators and related shop equipment safely.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits
