About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of medium‑ to large‑scale engineering projects, from concept development through final handover. • Conduct site‑virtual walkthroughs, review shop drawings, and verify that work meets design specifications.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, negotiate change orders, and control scope creep.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, applying lessons learned to future projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; PE license preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive project engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Proven track record delivering projects valued over $10M on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and BIM coordination software.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated, comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment while maintaining high collaboration.
  • Valid US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or specialized certifications (PMP, DBIA, LEED AP).
  • Experience with renewable energy, water treatment, or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud‑based collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Asana).
  • Multilingual ability (Spanish or other) is a plus for diverse client bases.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Generous paid time off and company‑observed holidays.
  • Professional development stipend for certifications, conferences, and courses.
