Assistant Principal

Wesley International Academy is seeking an Assistant Principal to join its leadership team in Northlake, DeKalb County, US. This role supports the Principal in instructional leadership, teacher evaluation, and the implementation of the STEM/International Baccalaureate program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal with day‑to‑day school operations and strategic planning.
• Provide instructional leadership by supervising curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and professional development.
• Observe, evaluate, and mentor teachers to improve instructional quality.
• Monitor student performance data and implement interventions to boost achievement.
• Support student discipline policies and promote a safe, positive school climate.
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the STEM/International Baccalaureate programme.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design, assessment systems, and IB/ STEM frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills.

Compensation & Benefits
