Job Summary

Un Mundo de Amigos is launching a new preschool in Long Beach, Los Angeles County and seeks a dedicated Preschool Center Supervisor to lead daily operations, support staff, and ensure a nurturing environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the new center’s opening and ongoing daily operations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate age‑appropriate curriculum and enrichment programs.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Supervise, coach, and schedule teachers and support staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment, handling emergencies and incident reporting.
• Build strong relationships with families, address concerns, and promote parent engagement activities.
• Manage enrollment processes, enrollment records, and attendance tracking.
• Prepare and control the center’s budget, monitor expenses, and handle supply ordering.
• Collaborate with the Area Director on strategic planning, reporting, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a preschool or early‑learning setting.
• Current California Child Development Permit (CDP) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of California licensing requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a dynamic classroom environment.

Benefits & Compensation
