Job Summary

New Life Little Arrows is hiring an Infant Toddder Teacher for its award‑winning early learning center in Florissant, Saint Louis County, US. This full‑time role offers a salary of $39,949.42 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to design and implement age‑appropriate curriculum for infants (6‑12 months) and toddlers (12‑36 months).
  • Facilitate daily activities that promote cognitive, language, social, and motor development.
  • Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Develop and maintain consistent schedules for feeding, naptime, outdoor play, and structured learning.
  • Observe and document each child’s progress, preparing reports for parents and staff meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with families, providing updates on milestones and addressing concerns.
  • Support classroom transitions and assist with diapering, feeding, and hygiene as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Current Missouri Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and infant/toddler learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
  • Background check and CPR/First Aid certification required.
