About the Role

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review architectural plans, and ensure compliance with international fire codes while working entirely from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fire hazard analyses and risk assessments for complex structures.
• Design and specify fire suppression systems, detection equipment, and sprinkler layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to enforce fire safety standards.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams and clients.
• Stay current with emerging fire protection technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, and possess at least 3 years of professional experience in fire safety engineering. Proficiency in industry‑standard software such as CFAST, PyroSim, and SolidWorks is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a valid professional engineer (PE) license (or the ability to obtain one within 12 months), and a proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget are required.
