Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits and community sessions to deliver Parents as Teachers curriculum in both English and Spanish.
- Build trusting, long‑lasting relationships with parents and caregivers, offering guidance on child development, health, and early learning.
- Assess family needs, create individualized action plans, and connect families to local resources such as health, housing, and social services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of visits, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with agency standards.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent service delivery and program quality.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, trainings, and supervision meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) with strong intercultural communication skills.
- Experience working with families of infants and toddlers, ideally within an early‑intervention or home‑visiting program.
- Knowledge of Parents as Teachers (PAT) model or similar early‑learning frameworks.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and record‑keeping abilities.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within West Covina and surrounding areas.
