Key Responsibilities
- Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections of mechanical parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T standards.
- Document findings using inspection reports, measurement logs, and digital traceability systems.
- Identify non‑conformances, generate corrective action requests, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Maintain calibrated inspection equipment and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry‑specific standards.
- Support remote surveillance assessments and contribute to audit preparation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) preferred.
- 1‑2 years of mechanical inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Calipers, Micrometers, CMMs, and vision inspection systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and tolerance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work 1st shift hours and travel to supplier sites within the United States.
