About This Position
Job Summary
TriHealth is seeking an Acute Care Technician for the Med Surg Pulmonary unit at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Hamilton County, Ohio. This full‑time day shift role provides direct patient care on a 43‑bed renal and pulmonary specialty unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with patient hygiene, mobility, and positioning.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the RN promptly.
- Support patients undergoing dialysis, oxygen therapy, and COPD exacerbation treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with infection‑control policies.
- Document patient interactions and observations accurately in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members during daily rounds and hand‑offs.
- Participate in unit emergency drills and respond to code situations as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Prior experience in medical‑surgical or pulmonary care preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work the designated schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 72 hours bi‑weekly, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients safely.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $103,493.70
